Yes, the show WOULD go on Thats a quote from my favorite movie, Moulin Rouge. In that movie, as well as in Titanic and Romeo and Juliet, a guy and a girl fall in love, try to deny it because others want to keep them apart, and when they finally give in to their desires and proclaim deep, passionate love for each other, one or both of them dies. WWWWHHHHYYYYYY?!?!
That kind of love was never meant to last Another quote, this time from Matrix Reloaded. Why isnt it meant to last? Is that mans (and womans) fate? Is attraction truly fatal? God, thats depressing. But then again maybe thats just Hollywoods take on it. Maybe there is such a thing as everlasting love.
Maybe.
And if I ever find it, youll be the first to know.
